The 2011 Inch Polo Festival will take place on Sept 10 and 11th. First chukka will start at 11am on sat 10th. (There are 4 chukkas in each match).There will be two pitches on the beach. The best winners on sat will qualify to play the final on Sunday for the Inch Cup at 11.30am on Sunday 11th. Spectators welcome to cheer on the teams.

Inch Polo Festival is an annual Horse Polo Competition played on the beach at Inch, Co. Kerry. Tournaments take place along the 3 miles of Inch Strand which is separated into six full length fields. Bounded on one side by the sea and on the other by the dramatic mountains of the Dingle Penisular, the sands provide a perfect playing surface: firm and light playing where the ball rolls fast and the ponies grip to the surface like glue. This is one of the world's only beach tournaments played with a grass ball on full length fields.
